Official Launch Pierhead Barbados

When we received an invitation at the beginning of April 2025 to attend a meeting to discuss the launch of the new Pierhead Development we were very intrigued. Having only heard bits and pieces over the years of what the project might possibly look like, the thought of getting up close and personal was very enticing indeed.

Sadly, Bridgetown has become a pale shadow of her former self, so the prospect of a major development that could breathe new life into the old lady could be a much-needed boost for the city and its inhabitants. We can safely say however that nothing prepared us for the scale of the developers’ vision and the story behind it.

The Pierhead project embraces and honours the site’s heritage, yet brings a new vibrancy that will be shared by Barbadians and visitors alike. Their motto ‘Old Soul, New Heart’ is perfectly apt as it steers the beginning of the revitalisation of our capital city. The Pierhead will be a district where life comes together; homes, shops, cafés, green spaces, and gathering spots, all thoughtfully planned to create a walkable, welcoming community. It’s being designed to bring the energy of the city and the ease of the beach into one connected place, made for everyday living and a strong sense of belonging.

On July 24th the many months of meticulous planning resulted in a flawlessly-executed launch, thanks to our amazing team of event professionals, which ran the gamut from flooring to tents, decor, lighting, sound, AV, security, transportation, signage, plant rentals and of course our catering and bar teams.
